Job Description:

  • The Global Operations Learning and Development (GOLD) team is looking for a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to develop world-class learning solutions for our customers in Emerging Countries (LATAM, MENA, APAC) of the Rest of the world region (ROW) for Associate and Frontline Leader learning products.
  • In this position, you will be an architect and leader in creating and improving learning products.
  • As a Learning Experience Designer, you will own the end-to-end design and development of learning solutions while supporting multiple learning programs and products across the Associate and Frontline Leader Development portfolio.
  • In this role you will work on instructional design projects that utilize your expertise in learning theory, instructional technologies, and human performance technology to enhance the performance of Client.
  • The solutions you create will enable improve employee experience, shorten lead times to proficiency, and provide performance support at the point of need.
  • This includes performing needs assessments to identify learning objectives with business stakeholders, designing, developing, testing, and rapidly iterating instructional content for your audience, and developing knowledge and performance observation assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
  • The ideal person for this role will work autonomously across multiple global locations (mentioned above), use their expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships, collaborating across different fields of expertise , and collaborate with Learning Business Partners across ROW on the implementation of learning project plans.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Discover and Innovate: partner with business stakeholders to understand program goals and define the learning solution that will make their programs successful
  • Design and Develop: create performance-focused training content that engages our learners, ensuring content is ready for localization and deployment in international marketplaces
  • Design and Develop: create outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, practice tests, online tutorials, and other materials to meet identified needs
  • Design and Develop: create tests, quizzes, and other assessments to ensure learner understanding and performance
  • Deliver Results: manage your projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines
  • Design Leadership: raise the bar for learning design excellence for learning content aimed at Associates and Front Line Leaders across ROW

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of design experience
  • Have an available portfolio
  • Knowledge of Instructional design principles and methodologies, web-based information architecture and design
  • High proficiency in using authoring tools (Articulate) and Design/illustration tools, Video and Audio editing
  • Proven competence using a Learning Management System (LMS)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Web design, UX Design or Multimedia
